A Christ-Centered Faith

I just discovered all these cool infographics on the LDS Newsroom site today. They have nine different graphs on there, and I thought I'd share one a week with you here on the blog. They're pretty cool, and have a lot of neat stats.

This one explains who we, "the Mormons," are. "Mormon" is just a nickname for members of our church; our real, full church name is "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints." Each part of that long title has a meaning. "The Church of Jesus Christ" means just that: it is the church of Jesus Christ organized upon the earth. "Saint" simply means member of the church, and "latter-day" means the present day instead of the church when it was established 2,000 years ago. So, that's why we're The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Here are some cool stats about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Enjoy!
